We are seeking dedicated and skilled ER & ICU Registered Nurses (RN) with minimum 2 years work experience to join our Nova scotia travel Nursing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency, critical and or intensive care nursing, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a compassionate approach to nursing, particularly when dealing with critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ER, ICU or both settings.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and laboratory results.
Ventilator Management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records as specified by NSHA.
Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care.
Assist with patient transfers.
Qualifications
BSc Nursing from a accredited school of Nursing.
Emergency and Critical nursing Care skills.
Minimum of 2 years ER or ICU Nursing experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Active Nova Scotia RN license in good standing.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, CTAS, TNCC must have for ER positions.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CNCC or equivalent & Ventilator MGT training must have for ICU positions.
NRP, FHR, ENPC an asset.
Negative criminal / Vulnerable sector check within the last 90days.
Immunization records.
Benefits
$85 - $90 for all hours worked, No overtime, Statutory holiday 1.5hours.

Car rental is based on approval by facility & only on days worked.
Length of contracts - 4weeks - 12weeks (mandatory completion).
Contract Dates - Starting now to the end of 2025 (pending new available, extended contracts).
Length of shifts - 12 hours days or nights, 11.25 hours paid (usually based on facility needs).
