Registered Nurse | R.R.TINDEPENDENT CONTRACTORThis is an independent contractor position. Apply only if willing to accept travel assignments or short-term contracts.We are looking for experienced nurses who are looking for an exciting opportunity. This is a travel assignment. The client will require you to travel to all their sites and accommodation and mileage are included.Length of Contract: 1-4 months commitmentJob Qualification/Requirements:

• Respiratory Therapy Diploma from an accredited program.
• Professional registration is in good standing with the CRTO.
• Current BCLS and NRP
• ACLS preferred
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 12 months

• Updated Immunization Record included Covid-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses)

• Must be comfortable working independently and/or as a team

• Ability to conduct respiratory tests and treatments

• Ability to keep accurate records and patient charts
• Ability to assess patient response to care and to respond appropriately

• Ability to provide good customer service
• Experience with critical care and emergency situations.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer literate with hospital systems
• Demonstrated willingness to continually upgrade skills and be active in the continual development of Respiratory Services.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a good attendance record.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment is an asset

Duties:

• Performs a variety of complex respiratory treatments, and pulmonary and respiratory therapy technology to be used to produce reliable test/treatment cardiac stress testing requiring the use of professional judgment.
• Professional application of principles, theories, and techniques of results which in turn are used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
