Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs)

for short-term travel contracts in

Digby, Nova Scotia

Professional duties and responsibilities include:

[ ] Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
[ ] Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
[ ] Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
[ ] Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
[ ] Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with Nova Scotia health standards
[ ] Deliver patient and family-centered care with professionalism and compassion
[ ] Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment in urgent and emergent situations

Qualifications and requirements

[ ] Registered Nurse (RN) diploma or degree and valid

Nova Scotia RN license

[ ] Current certifications:

BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CTAS, PALS

[ ] Minimum of two years of recent ER or acute care hospital experience
[ ] Clear Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months
[ ] Updated immunization records
[ ] Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
[ ] Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $100.00-$110.00 per hour
