Your role will involve a broad scope of practice, from prenatal care, trauma, and primary healthcare services.Assignment Duration:Assignment duration range from 2 - 3 weeks with possibility of extension.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with physicians and facility Charge Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services that include, but are not limited to, primary care, trauma care, prenatal care, obstetrics, treatment of acute injuries and illnesses and working in general treatment clinics.- Adhering to the care plan, application of the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, observe, and educate.- Strong critical thinking skills, assessment skills, therapeutic communication techniques and excellent interpersonal skills to tackle challenging situations objectively utilizing evidence-based practice.- Maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Personal Health Information Act (PHIPA)- Strict adherence to Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocols.- Adherence to Integras Policies and ProceduresQualifications:- Minimum of 3,000 hours of experience over the past five years in remote or critical care settings- Bachelors Degree in Nursing and a valid College Of Nurses Of Ontario (CNO) license- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (must be within 12 months)- A valid G drivers license- Completion of specific online courses and trainingMandatory Certifications and Training:CPR/BLS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)PALS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)ACLS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)ITLS CertificationWHMIS 2015Communicable Disease Control and Immunization (ISC Immunization and Communicable diseases modules via iTacit)Completion of Controlled Substances CourseTDG CertificationPrivacy TrainingIndigenous Cultural CompetencyCompleted Security Clearance with fingerprintsWe Offer:- Fully paid travel and accommodations- Competitive pay- Comprehensive orientation and diverse assignment opportunities- A balance between work and life with flexible schedulesApplication Process:Interested?
