The work you will do:
Work collaboratively in a team-based environment, practicing an expanded scope of nursing to deliver primary and emergency care for all residents--from newborns to elders--through nursing stations and health centers in a clinic setting
Apply advanced skills in observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching, guided by individualized care plans
Lead health promotion initiatives, conduct assessments, and plan and implement care using Best Practice Clinical Guidelines
Provide comprehensive services including primary care, emergency care, travel nursing, care plan development, infection prevention and control (IPAC), communicable disease management, and immunizations
Ensure the comfort and safety of clients at all times, within the scope of practice

Who You Are:
You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
You meet the required work experience

Experience
RequiredA minimum of 1,125 - 3,000 hours within the past 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care (e.g. Urgent Care/Quick Care Center)
OR 3,000 hours within the past 3 years providing care in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated communities as a Nurse Practitioner.
