Full Travel Consultant and Office Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 Expedia Cruises Expedia Cruises Mt. Doug, a member of Expedia Group, is hiring a Travel Consultant/Office Assistant for our location at 4089A Shelbourne Street, Victoria BC. While we specialize in Cruise, we are a full-service travel agency offering land-based vacations (all-inclusive packages, coach tours, deluxe rail journeys) and independent travel. We are looking for an individual with a passion for helping others, a desire to work collaboratively, and assist the Franchise Partner and Sales Manager. We care more about your attitude, desire, and enthusiasm than the training or experience you\xe2\x80\x99ve had in the travel industry or any industry. Your role will include\xe2\x80\xa6 \xc2\xb7 Booking travel, but specializing in flights and travel insurance sales. \xc2\xb7 Comply with Expedia Cruises strategies, policies, processes, and standard operating procedures \xc2\xb7 General office duties & responsibilities, including welcoming clients into the office and answering phones. \xc2\xb7 This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be assigned as permanent or temporary, where needs are required. Skills & Abilities\xe2\x80\xa6 \xc2\xb7 Excellent customer service and communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Organized with strong administrative skills. \xc2\xb7 Work independently and as part of a team \xc2\xb7 High degree of self-motivation to learn and take initiative \xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel \xc2\xb7 Travel agent experience and education preferred but not required. This is a full-time position, 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri with occasional evening or weekend events. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter by February 4th. Benefits:
