We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, providing expert advice to ensure memorable and seamless travel experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in sales and customer service. Experience in hotel bookings and hospitality is a plus. Duties

Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budgets Recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities Book flights, hotels, tours, and other travel services accurately and efficiently Provide detailed itineraries and travel documentation to clients Upsell additional services such as travel insurance or special packages to enhance customer experience Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, promotions, and destination information Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or changes during the planning process Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best rates and availability

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, customer service, or GDS experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of the travel industry, destinations, and booking platforms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple bookings simultaneously Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office; familiarity with booking software is a plus
