Overview

Our Travel Consultants curate personalized travel experiences tailored to the unique preferences and requirements of every Member. Collaborating with the sales team, they work towards achieving individual and team sales targets, promoting North American and International travel packages, upgrades, and additional services that cater to the unique preferences of our Members.
Responsibilities
--------------------
Travel Planning and Client Consultation
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requirements.
Recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities based on client preferences and current travel trends.
Create personalized travel itineraries that align with each client's unique needs and desires.
Travel Insurance Sales:
Offer and sell travel insurance policies to clients, emphasizing the importance of coverage for unforeseen events during their travels.
Provide guidance on selecting insurance options that align with their specific needs.
Booking and Reservation Management:
Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and other travel-related services.
Ensure the accuracy of reservations, promptly confirm bookings, and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the booking process.
Manage changes to bookings, cancellations, and rebooking as needed.
Financial Management and Transparency:
Present pricing options and financial breakdowns transparently to clients.
Process payments, deposits, and refunds in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements
----------------

Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) certification is required.
Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) designation or active pursuit thereof is required.
Previous experience in a relevant travel sales role is an asset
Demonstrated sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Fluency in both Official Languages is desirable
The successful candidate is required to join the United Steelworkers
Compensation
----------------
Base Salary: $19.43 - $22.36 per hour
