The Opportunity:

The primary role of the Travel Administrator is to provide support to Canadian Natural's travelers. This includes booking commercial travel consistent with the business objectives of the company and in adherence with Canadian Natural's "Business Travel Policies & Guidelines", balancing the company's need for cost containment with the employee's need for comfort and quality services. The Travel Administrator will also provide reservation support for Fly In/Fly Out programs at Horizon, Albian, and Kirby/Jackfish. The Travel Administrator will perform all necessary administrative functions related to the travel program and assist with special projects, as required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Book commercial air, hotel, and rental cars for company business travelers, ensuring that proper pretrip approvals are obtained and utilizing Canadian Natural's preferred suppliers wherever possible
  • Make flight and camp bookings for business travelers to Horizon, Albian, and Kirby/Jackfish
  • Provide support for Fly In/Fly Out programs by assisting travelers with new bookings and with making changes to existing reservations
  • Assist internal clients with special requests, such as coach bookings

  • Job location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5X2, Monday - Friday, 8hr/days
  • Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural's Relocation Regular Policy

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Travel Counseling from an accredited institution
  • Must be fully proficient with Sabre reservation system
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of previous related experience
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel would be an asset
  • Experience with booking charter aircraft would be an asset
