We are currently seeking a motivated and team-oriented
Transportation Supervisor
to join our growing team. Reporting to the
Manager of Transportation
, this role is ideal for someone with a valid AZ license and a strong background in transportation operations and team leadership. You'll oversee a team of drivers and ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient daily transportation operations -- with a strong focus on safety, service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Team Management:
Supervise and coordinate a team of both flatbed and dry van drivers, including scheduling, route assignment, and performance support. Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment.
Driver Duties:
Must be prepared to perform drivers' duties and responsibilities to support operational efficiency.
Driver Evaluation:
Conduct pre-employment road tests and regular in-vehicle ride-alongs. Provide coaching and performance feedback to support safe and effective driving.
Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations including dispatch, route planning, and shipment tracking. Maintain accurate schedules and logs using Excel.
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure adherence to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs); identify and address any discrepancies.
Data & Reporting:
Analyze transportation data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Customer Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for customer delivery concerns. Proactively communicate and build strong client relationships.
Safety & Securement:
Oversee proper cargo loading and securement. Provide support and training to drivers as needed.
Fleet & Maintenance:
Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and keep accurate service records in Excel.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in the trucking or transportation industry, with proven supervisory experience
Valid AZ driver's license
In-depth knowledge of HOS regulations, cargo securement practices, and ELD systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and support a high-performing team
Proven ability to motivate and coach team members in a collaborative, respectful environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reports)
Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to service excellence
