We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Specialist to coordinate and manage the efficient movement of goods and personnel. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing transportation operations. Duties

Plan and schedule transportation routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines Monitor vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and vehicle logs Conduct regular inspections of transportation equipment and report any issues promptly Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and transportation laws Assist in resolving transportation-related issues or delays proactively Support inventory management related to transportation supplies and equipment

Skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to operate basic transportation management software or GPS systems Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards is preferred Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities efficiently Prior experience in logistics, fleet management, or related fields is a plus
