NewAge Products is seeking an experienced and driven Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our final mile delivery network across Canada and the US. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our logistics network is cost-effective, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical acumen, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of residential final mile rate structures, including pallet base, dimensional pricing, and CzarLite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Lead the research, evaluation, and selection of shipping partners, including assigning RFPs and guiding operational coordinators. Manage and mentor the Transportation team, including auditors and coordinators. Ensure seamless execution of transportation order logic processes. Oversee all 3PL transportation partner relationships and ensure adherence to delivery expectations. Develop cost and analysis models to evaluate and optimize shipping spend. Maintain and manage the departmental transportation budget. Optimize freight networks through strategic partner rationalization or expansion. Coach staff to improve analytical and operational performance. Design and implement network strategies to drive efficiencies and logistics optimization. Monitor industry trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. Foster employee engagement through proactive leadership and accountability. Set departmental goals, manage performance, and ensure work aligns with corporate objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (required). 5-7 years' experience in supply chain or logistics, with 3+ years in a managerial role. Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Advanced negotiation and analytical skills. Experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, PowerPoint, Project, SQL). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred). PLog or CITT certification (preferred). Financial acumen in managing budgets and cost forecasting. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Adaptability to changing environments and resilience under pressure.
