ADESA Canada is the country\'s largest wholesale vehicle auction and remarketing services company. ADESA provides state-of-the art facilities and technologies to help dealers and consignors buy and sell used cars, trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles and heavy equipment.

ADESA Vancouver is one of ADESA Canada\'s 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, coast to coast and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.

As a Transport Driver, you will be assigned to drive a variety of vehicles to & from our vehicle logistic centers (ADESA locations), providing our customers with local pick up & delivery services. You may also provide assistance with inventory moves within the ADESA lot. We are looking to hire multiple drivers to aid with moving vehicles across the lower mainland, into the Interior of BC and to beautiful Vancouver Island!

This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals that want to work on a part-time basis, meet some interesting people and have fun at the same time! At this time we are focusing our efforts on individuals who would like to transport vehicles within the Interior and Vancouver Island regions.

General Employment Details:
Casual (8 - 28 Hours/ week) available
Shifts available All week, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Fridays! No Evenings!

Hours: Depends on the type of trip. For example, the Interior and Vancouver Island trips would commence at 5:30am; local trips would commence at 8:30am.

Hourly Rate: $16.75

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, as well as pick up and deliver vehicles while observing auction driving rules, rules of the road, demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.

\xc2\xb7 Accurately input data using CarsArrive app pre/post delivery

\xc2\xb7 Must be safety conscious and ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes using our pre-trip safety process.

\xc2\xb7 Report all incidents properly and immediately per established procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service and demonstrating teamwork!

\xc2\xb7 May be assigned to work in the yard to assist with vehicle inventory moves & lot turn.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Valid driver\'s license required (Class 5 Minimum)

\xc2\xb7 Satisfactory drivers\' abstract & criminal record check required.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to drive a standard transmission preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Basic computer & smartphone skills required.

\xc2\xb7 Must be comfortable driving long distances (up to 2.5 hours one way)

\xc2\xb7 Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.

\xc2\xb7 Available to work a flexible schedule, as our shifts may vary based on business volume.
