Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Transportation Coordinator- Union to join our Operations team in Burnaby. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance for all transportation documentation and ensuring the fleet is safe and operational.
The ideal candidate for this role is a highly reliable, trustworthy, and punctual team member ready to take the next step in their career.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for meticulously organizing and auditing all transportation-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Conduct regular inspections of our trucks to ensure they are safe and in excellent working order.
Be the primary point of contact for our drivers, coordinating their schedules, and ensuring they have the resources needed to get in and out efficiently.
This role requires a flexible mindset. You must be willing to drive the truck when required in all weather conditions, including winter out of town route coverage.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2 years of experience in the transportation, operations, or warehouse field.
a Class 5 license + air brake endorsement
Must be willing to obtain a class 3 license within 6 months of hire
Bobcat (Skid Steer) Certification, Forklift certification and Boom Lift Certification will be required to obtain within 3 months of hire
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
