JOB SUMMARY
The Transportation Coordinator ensures efficient movement of goods by scheduling and tracking shipments, maintaining records, and coordinating with carriers and teams. This role also oversees delivery resolutions and provides timely updates on shipment status to support uninterrupted operations.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to transportation related general inquiries (internal and external)
Review and record carrier compliance to internal policies
Recording carrier investigations and maintaining failure log
Obtain shipment PODs
Track and trace shipments
Facilitate movement of Medline shipments
Data collection and recording
Preparing and maintaining various reports for the Manager
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Over 1 year and including 2 years of experience
Equivalent to Completion of Community College of About Two Academic Years
Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this role
Intermediate knowledge of computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc.) is required
SAP background (preferred)
Requires Ordinary Attention and Accuracy to Avoid Errors
