Hunter Amenities is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to fill the role of Transportation Assistant. The Transportation Assistant assists with supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation and is situated in our Oakville location. .

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing and coordinating shipments.
  • Resolves customer issues relating to transportation of their goods and products.
  • Prepares and verifies shipment documentations of outbound material.
  • Process outbound orders, including customs, BOL and packing slips.
  • Tracks and communicates all shipments to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintains all files, transportation documents and reports in an organized manner.
  • Assists with any other administrative duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Secondary High school diploma
  • 1-3 years in a similar role
  • Logistics/Transportation experience an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Problem solving skills and highly organized
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player, technically competent and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
