Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused
Account Coordinator
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and excels at building and maintaining strong client relationships. The Account Coordinator will act as a key point of contact between our clients, operations team, and sales, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customer accounts, ensuring all transportation needs are met accurately and on time.
Coordinate and schedule shipments with operations, including pick-ups and deliveries, with an emphasis on white glove service standards.
Communicate shipment status updates to clients and proactively resolve issues or delays.
Prepare and manage order documentation, quotes, and billing information with accuracy and attention to detail.
Work closely with sales, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to ensure special handling and customer-specific requirements are met.
Monitor account activity, identify opportunities for service improvements, and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term partnerships.
Assist with rate negotiations, service agreements, and client onboarding, when required.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or customer service (trucking industry experience is a strong asset).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and transportation management systems (TMS) is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
