In this role, as Transport Underwriter, you will report to the VP, Transport and your main responsibilities will include risk analysis of inquiries by brokers, underwriting the endorsement requests and ensuring an excellent service to brokers. Main responsibilities

• Process endorsement in accordance with our program and contract guidelines
• Accept or decline endorsement request to one\'s level of authority
• Advance business relationships with existing and new brokers through professional service
• Collaborate with colleagues on current and future opportunities
• Represent the company at industry events as required
• Maintain market intelligence, business insurance trends and industry knowledge

• 1 to 3 years Insurance experience in the Transport sector
• Experience in commercial insurance, an asset
• Knowledge of Guidewire, an asset
• Have an insurance diploma, an asset
• Strong wording knowledge
• Confidence and ability to analyze and make decisions
• Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Sense of responsibility and priorities
