With Us, You Will Have the Opportunity to...
Create all design drawings required for basic small to medium scale projects
- system rebuilds & voltage conversions
- routine new/upgrade for residential and commercial servicesPrepare estimates and bill of materials
Create preliminary schematics including distribution concepts and interface plans for multi-phase projects
Identify pole line and duct routes for complex projects (eg. large capacity overhead and underground structures in congested areas)
Develop line routes
Design and produce engineering documents associated with transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV)
Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines
Lead the preparation of service offers, studies, cost estimates, reports, as well as plans and specifications, and participate in them.
Assist with existing lines inspections and produce the required reports

Overview of certifications and job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Construction Engineering
3-7 years experience in a related role
Experience with transmission and distribution lines design in utility sector and hydro power
Relevant experience combined with an interest in transmission and distribution lines
Strong technical writing skills
