What\'s the role?
The role of Translator is responsible for interpreting written or spoken material into one or more other languages while ensuring the meaning and context are maintained. This position creates glossaries or term dictionaries, possesses knowledge of multiple languages, and works as resource inside marketing and communications team environment.Who is Hilti?

- Read through and/or listen to material in one language, ascertain understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and convert it into a second language (French) ensuring preservation of the original meaning and context/tones are accurately captured
- Consult with subject matter experts and other colleagues to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
- Refer to online translation tools for additional assistance with translation, as needed
- Follow up with clients ensuring satisfaction and understanding
- Learn technical vocabulary necessary to translate various documentation effectively
- Translate various documentation and assist in screening documents for the engineering team
- Translate variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, human resource, marketing, and commercial materials
- Additional duties, as assigned
