Department Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
The Transition House Worker will:
be responsible for the smooth functioning of the residential program during the day shift while ensuring the safety of service recipients; and
offer supportive counselling, referrals and advocacy appropriate to meeting the individual needs of women who are survivors of wife assault, sexual assault and emotional abuse.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Transition House Worker will have:
a two-year diploma in the area of women's studies, social work or counselling psychology;
two years experience in a supervised women services program; or
an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
RATE OF PAY:
$25.95 per hour/ day shift
$22.94 per hour/ Asleep Overnight Shift
