Job Description




AECOM Mississauga is hiring a Scheduler to join its Rail and Transit team, supporting major infrastructure projects


Responsibilities:




Schedule Development: Develop and validate the detailed schedules for civil elements (i.e. Stations, facilities, ancillary buildings, trackwork, utilities) of the project, including material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs. Schedule Validation: Review and validate schedule constructability including sequencing/phasing, production rates, durations, resource and equipment assignments etc., considering the project constraints Quality Control: Review schedules for accuracy, consistency, completeness and contractual compliance before formal submission, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational scheduling procedures and requirements Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with the Project Co to ensure consistent quality and compliance throughout the joint schedule development process Contract Management: Reviewing contracts, change orders, and submittals to ensure all schedule impacts align with project requirements. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely design and construction teams, estimating and risk teams, independent value assessors and other critical stakeholders to ensure schedules accurately reflect the scope and complexities of the project

Qualifications




Minimum Requirements:




Bachelor's degree in in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 5 years' experience in the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project. Rapid rail and transit scheduling experience including developing the schedule for tunneling activities and station, facilities, track and system construction is preferred. Significant Primavera P6 experience Significant experience in cost loading and resource loading schedules

Preferred Qualifications

:


Ideally 7 years of experience with at least 5 years' experience in the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project. Knowledge of scheduling techniques, including Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), Resource Leveling

Additional Information




Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $170,000.00.
