Your role:

Enjoy interacting with the public Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour Drive one of several different buses in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule Maintain the appearance of the interior of the bus Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required Assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents, and communicate with dispatch as required Perform all other duties assigned

Essential Criteria:

A willingness to work a variety of shifts The ability to demonstrate proficiency in the safe and effective operation of a transit vehicle Demonstrated ability to communicate/interact with the public (all levels of comprehension), management and other staff members in a courteous/respectful/efficient manner and to answer a variety of enquiries with tact and discretion Demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Conditions of Employment:

A valid Class 4F License (required) Driver's Abstract Child Abuse Registry Check (Max 60 days issued) Adult Abuse Registry Check (Max 60 days issued) Criminal Record Check- W/ Vulnerable Sector (Max 60 days issued)
