Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should ideally demonstrate the following:

• Excellent, strong, proven customer service experience
• Take responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan in the event of a serious collision in conjunction with management
• Utilize radio to communicate effectively with all route drivers
• Alert drivers to road closures and other delays
• Manage and pull a variety of reports as per the Transit Supervisor\xe2\x80\x99s directive
• Manage and assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance as required
• Answer phones, fax, and email correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
• Clean criminal record search
• Excellent time and stress management skills
• Good organization and communication skills
• Computer software experience in MS Office 365
• Understanding of dispatching software and previous experience in a transportation company an asset
• Be available to work Sundays from 2:00pm to 11:00pm
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Ability to adapt to new processes and technologies quickly
