Waste Connections is looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Selkirk, MB location. This is a casual position with a reputable company.
Address: Whisky Ditch Road, Selkirk, MB
Pay rate: $15.00/hr.
Hours: 9am to 6pm (Summer), 8am to 5pm (Winter)
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Responsibilities Include:
Yard Duties
- Check incoming loads, determine appropriate fee (yard duties)
- Maintain Transfer Station grounds and roadways
- Direct customers to appropriate bin
- Collect disposal fees from customers
- Handling Cash/Debit Machine.
- Maintain daily log as required
- Assist customers as necessary using the facility
- At least 2 years of work experience in a fast paced, customer service environment
- Experience operating equipment is a plus
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
- Be able to pass our background checks (Drug and Criminal check)
