Position Overview





As a

Transfer Pricing Manager

, you will support the Cross-Border Tax Team in planning and executing international tax matters for clients, both ongoing and transactional. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to a variety of multi-disciplinary mandates (Canadian tax, transfer pricing, international tax and tariff planning) involving Canadian companies abroad and foreign companies investing in Canada.

Key Responsibilities




Prepare transfer pricing adjustment computation for balance of tax and year-end true-ups. Develop Excel financial models for transfer pricing and tax planning purposes. Prepare various transfer pricing economic analyses. Prepare client deliverables such as transaction flow diagrams, transfer pricing documentation reports, and technical papers. Prepare technical research and presentations for internal learning purposes. Assist with tariff and corporate income tax planning and execution. Assist with tax research on withholding tax, corporate tax rates, tax treaties, and case law. Assist with foreign reporting (T106). Assist with supervising, mentoring, and training junior team members.

Your Qualifications




Minimum 4 to 7 years of work experience in Canadian transfer pricing. Self starter who can problem-solve and think critically with strong analytical and Excel financial modelling skills. Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and make sense of large volumes of data. Undergraduate degree with major in accounting, finance, or economics. MBA, MA or advanced degree in Economics, Tax, Finance or Business Administration (nice to have). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Holds a CPA designation or is currently pursuing (preferred). Experience in US transfer pricing (a strong asset). Experience in financial transaction transfer pricing (a strong asset). Experience in Canadian corporate tax (a strong asset). Experience with Capital IQ, RoyaltyStat, Bloomberg or similar software (an asset). Experience with TaxPrep, CaseWare, or similar software (an asset).
