Purpose of the roleThe holder of this position will ensure that intercompany transactions fully comply with international tax requirements for transfer pricing, while supporting the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall financial strategy. They will ensure that the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations comply with current tax regulations. By collaborating with financial teams, they will rigorously manage internal transactions while contributing to the group\xe2\x80\x99s business practices\xe2\x80\x99 efficiency and transparency.Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to person for all matters related to transfer pricing (prepare documentation, conduct analyses, make recommendations, participate in policy development, etc.);
  • Handle cash management;
  • Assist in preparing the year-end audit file, coordinating taxes, and external audits;
  • Carefully review budget discrepancies and other inconsistencies;
  • Evaluate current accounting procedures, propose recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes;
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations at the state level;
  • Any other tasks related to the establishment of a new business in the U.S.

Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or relevant education;
  • Experience in transfer pricing (mandatory);
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with U.S. accounts;
  • Bilingualism is essential, both written and spoken (the person will need to communicate with external partners);
  • Experience in the retail industry (an asset);
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
