The company is committed to educating and consulting each of their clients through one of the largest purchases of their life. The Transactions Coordinator is a critical role in the organization that will have touch points with all 30+ employees and contractors of the company. The position contributes to the overall success of the Company through attention to detail on compliance and organizational matters. A successful candidate will be organized and possess a high attention to detail. Reports to: Partner, Broker of Record Responsibilities

  • Track incoming commissions and fees from 50+ banking partners and subsequently ensure those commissions and distributed to the correct parties.
  • Work closely with Mortgage Agents to ensure files are completed and all required documentation uploaded.
  • Utilize the Company\xe2\x80\x99s integrated payroll and compliance system, Scarlett, to reconcile corresponding compensation ensuring amounts are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Tracking, compiling and or completing necessary compliance documents on the Scarlett Network and reviewing for potential errors/discrepancies (dates, ownership, etc.).
  • Ensure Funded Mortgage Files (residential/commercial) are meticulously managed with over 20 lenders (private and institutional).
  • Complete basic bookkeeping and data entry functions as required.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related job experience.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with learning new software applications and proficient in common software applications (i.e. MS Office).
  • Knowledge of required mortgage/legal documentation is an asset (i.e. commitment, down payment and income documents).
  • Familiarity with Scarlett or Filogix software would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with basic bookkeeping including AR/AP and bank reconciliations would be considered an asset.
Salary & Benefits
  • $25.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience
