Well, what about the team?

The Transactional Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting different groups within Transactional Finance and Accounting, particularly, the processes related to Inter-company accounting and credit card bookings and reconciliation. The role will also entail support and backup to the Order to Cash analyst, during vacation and special projects. In this role the individual is responsible to ensure timely & accurate Inter -company transaction processing (end to end process), including reconciliation, payment proposal, and any additional analysis. They will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded, that the End-to-End processes relating to Inter-company are documented adequately to meet Senior Finance leader requirements for Robust Internal control environment & to meet Internal and External audit scrutiny & operate all processes under their care in compliance with Group financial policies and local Regional Regulatory requirements. An important element of the role is coordinating with different stakeholders within Business units in-country & in organizations across multiple regions, as well as with European management.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Ensuring the timely & accurate processing of Intercompany invoices arising from Intercompany relationships with Customers & Gamesys Group entities.
  • Ensure IC invoicing is in line with Local and Group Regulatory & Tax reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that VAT on prime document transactions is captured according to the applicable VAT reporting regulations.
  • Ensure that Transactions are recorded only when required Legal documentation is in place.
  • Optimize tools and systems available to provide automated financial and operational information.
  • Ensure that proper segregation of duties and internal controls are applied to ensure the safeguard of the Groups assets.
  • Ensure transactions are transacted and approved in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
  • Monitor IC invoice settlements pro-actively and the ageing thereof with respect to due date.
  • Resolve any proposed late and unpaid debt issues and record settlements in sub-ledgers.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of Intercompany cash movements arising with Gamesys Group entities.
  • Timely booking and reconciliation of all credit cards in accordance with Finance month end timetables ensuring compliance and completeness of these accounts.
  • Ensure all Inter-company payments are processed on a timely manner, following the proper internal controls and company's guidelines.
  • Support the Accounting Team during Year end reconciliation, regarding any items related to Inter-company processes.
  • Support the business when it comes to reconciliation and inquiries regarding the credit card postings.
  • Ensuring a prompt and high-level of posting accuracy
  • Support the Accounts Receivable team as a backup, during holidays, sick days and vacations.

And what are we looking for?

  • Experience working in a multinational company within a shared service environment with
    Inter-company accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of ERPs such as Navision/Microsoft Dynamics - with the ability to learn new systems swiftly.
  • Ability to work flexibly in an ever-changing work environment with good excel skills.
  • Proven results in raising and maintaining high performance in direct and indirect teams\' structures.
  • Exposure to multiple European Indirect tax regulatory requirements.
  • Good written and verbal English language skills.
