Job Summary

As a Training Specialist for our Bioanalytical team located at the Laval site, you will train and coach staff to maximize performance through an efficient organization of work in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliant environment.

In this role,responsibilities may include:

• Train, guide and coach new staff and existing staff according to GLP requirements and SOPs
• Ensure that proper training is given in a timely manner
• Provide regular feedback on staff performance to their immediate supervisor
• Participate in harmonization processes and implementation of new practices/processe

Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

• Collegial diploma in sciences or in related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory work experience
• 2 years and plus experience with LC-MS/MS (required)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• English reading comprehension is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred

Role Specific Information

Location: Laval / Shuttle service between Montmorency metro station and the Laval site, Free parking
Schedule: Weekday schedule, Monday to Friday
Position as of the hiring, full time 37.5hrs per week

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
