Training Manager



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Manager to join our team and support our mission of providing enriched early childhood education through our award-winning CEFA Early Learning program. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of CEFA's national training programs for educators, principals and franchise partners. This role ensures that all training initiatives reflect CEFA's educational philosophy and maintain the highest standards of quality, engagement and consistency.

The Training Manager oversees multiple large-scale training initiatives simultaneously, ensuring programs are well organized, learner focused and supported by effective systems, processes and technologies. This position also manages the day-to-day operations of CEFA's Learning Management System and ensures accurate data collection, learner tracking, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:



Candidate must demonstrate excellence in the following areas:

Training Program Leadership



Manage large scale training initiatives and multiple concurrent training programs.

Lead the design, implementation and ongoing refinement of training programs, courses and modules.

Develop, update and maintain training manuals, guides, handouts and other learning resources.

Ensure all training aligns with CEFA's educational philosophy, operational standards and curriculum goals.

Oversee training schedules, session planning and coordination across all CEFA schools.

Create and issue certificates for completed training, ensuring accurate tracking and record keeping.

Team and Collaboration



Supervise and mentor the Training team, providing direction and quality oversight.

Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Development Manager and Operations teams to align training content with curriculum and operational needs.

Maintain open communication with schools and principals regarding training schedules, participation and requirements.

Training Operations and LMS Management



Manage and oversee CEFA's Learning Management System (Docebo), upload courses, track learner progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support.

Maintain accurate records of training participation, completion and certification.

Manage day-to-day training operations and administrative functions.

Support data reporting, scheduling and logistical coordination for all training sessions.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement



Review training materials for consistency, accuracy and alignment with CEFA standards.

Evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, feedback and performance data.

Collect and analyze data on learner engagement, completion and outcomes to inform program improvement.

Enhance learner engagement by ensuring interactivity, accessibility and high-quality design.

Continuously improve training content based on user experience and emerging best practices.

Technical and Learner Support



Provide technical support during live training sessions and troubleshoot LMS-related challenges.

Ensure a seamless learning experience for all participants by promptly resolving technical issues.

Assist with reporting and data analysis for leadership and compliance needs.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Education, Training & Development, Instructional Design, Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience managing a training team and e-learning programs, preferably in education. Proven success in managing multiple concurrent projects or large-scale learning initiatives. Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles and training technologies. Proficient in Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline, for developing professional and interactive e-learning content. Proficiency with LMS Platforms (Docebo experience preferred) and course authoring tools. Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, innovation and learner engagement.

Salary and Benefits:



Schedule - M-F - full time - 40 hours per week - may be required to work some evenings and weekends dependent on role. Semi-hybrid role.

Salary: Up to $75,000 annually
