About The Opportunity

Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced Certification Training Manager. The successful candidate will develop and implement training material to drive internal certification training across multiple verticals including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive and Industrial.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Safety & Certification and will contribute to training internal teams as well as Wind River suppliers in order to drive improvement in certification project execution.

In the past you\'ve:

  • Designed and implemented comprehensive training modules
  • Produced DO178-C, IEC61508, ISO26262 or any other regulatory standards training material
  • Worked with management to identify training needs
  • Conducted training sessions for a technical audience
Responsibilities:
  • Manage new hire and on-going training campaigns for Wind River staff and suppliers
  • Work with management to assess educational needs
  • Develop and run training programs for regulatory standards such as: DO178-B/C, IEC61508, or ISO26262.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions (online and in-person)
  • Organize and maintain the online training material repository
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10-12 years of industry experience with a minimum 3+ years of training experience and 2+ years of experience with software or systems safety certifications
  • Experience in A&D, Automotive or Industrial certification processes
  • Familiarity with safety certification standards like DO178-B/C, IEC61508, or ISO26262
  • Ability to present the training material in an engaging way
  • BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent technical degree).
