Job Description


As Training Editing and Mediatization Technician, you help analyze needs and plan and carry out activities. You stay on top of trends and suggest ways to improve tools and methods. You\'re very familiar with your work organization and can work under pressure. You serve as a technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit\'s activities, assignments and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. We\'re looking for someone who is able to self-learn technical aspects while demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability and creativity. More specifically, you will be required to :
Provide technical support and advise collaborators on the best use of the software necessary for designing online training
Oversee the editing, formatting and mediatization of various documents using specialized software
Help prioritize and plan editing and mediatization activities and maintain relationships with collaborators
Participate in drafting and updating the sector\'s procedures, tools and methods
Perform quality control on online training modules and documents to ensure compliance with standards and carry out online training certification applications
Assist in identifying elements that facilitate the processes, standards and work procedures related to the mediatization of training material
Keep abreast of trends in software related to the mediatization of online training
Set deadlines for each assignment undertaken

What you bring to the table
Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in multimedia, graphic design or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of e-learning development experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
Advanced Storyline proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Intermediate-level knowledge of Rise, Articulate 360, Camtasia, Acrobat pro, Illustrator, Audacity and Photoshop
Available for travel in the L\xc3\xa9vis region Ambiguity, Communicates effectively, Decision quality, Plans and aligns, Situational adaptability, Tech savvy
