Job Description


We are looking for a Training Consultant for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Hybrid schedule, at least 3 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.Role Description
The Training Consultant will specialize in developing and optimizing training and deliver training programs. The ideal candidate will assess needs and create customized learning solutions to foster development and growth.Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business needs and recommend appropriate learning approach including content and approach, e.g. classroom, e-learning, information sharing, etc.
  • Responsible for recognizing impact of change and ensures recommendations consider and support the change that is required
  • Designs, develop, implement, and maintain client training materials and programs in both classroom and/or Web-based environments that meet the business needs
  • Collaborate with functional experts to develop programs that achieve the defined learning and business objectives
  • Evaluate existing training/ educational programs and provides feedback to enhance or replace these existing programs
  • Assists in modifying, revising, and updating the content of existing training programs
  • Creates graphics, visuals, and audio content to support content delivery
  • Train instructors or delivers instructor-led classroom sessions to client users
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the course by deploying measurement and feedback tools that track the outcomes to ensure alignment to the business objectives
  • Perform strategic analysis to determine overall education requirement and best delivery mechanism
  • Interview the representatives of the target group
  • Defines the target audience, the description of the methodologies, the learning approach for the training courses including courseware, tools, e-learning, and the evaluation criteria.
  • Training material production, including producing handbook, online materials, training programs for end-users
  • Develop an assessment questionnaire based on multiple choices, to evaluate the knowledge that has been acquired and overall performance capacity of the students that will take place at the end of each class
Required Skills and Experience
  • BSc or BA degree from an accredited university and Adult Education Certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in Adult Learning design/delivery
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in eLearning creation tools such as Articulate Storyline, uPerform, and Adobe Dreamweaver
  • SAP and SharePoint content management proficiency is an asset
  • Subject-matter background in Business analysis /and Project management is an asset
  • Consultative mindset and skills, experience in professional services or account management
