Description:


We are looking for a Trainer to deliver the basics on hardware safety and security, hand tool


familiarity and skills. Continued support of roles and work performed by technicians, ensuring a


solid understanding of industry best practices, recent methods and techniques.




What you will be responsible for:


Work with Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM), Director of QA, SMS Manager,
Chief Inspector, Operations Managers, Crew Chiefs to understand requirements.
Prepare, develop and instruct and assess staff on technical subjects in a classroom
setting, provide evaluations and suggested corrective actions. Required to train technical


subjects.
Observe and recommend/develop additional training requirements/programs for staff
based on observations.
Complete monthly reporting to the DQA. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on
the use of tooling and equipment.
Actively participate in AAR Windsor's Safety Management System (SMS) including
reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understands and


promotes the company safety policy.



What you will need to be successful in this role:


TCCA AME License or equivalent Minimum 10 years' experience in aircraft maintenance (heavy maintenance
environment)


Experience in development of technical workshops/training Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership, or technical role (mentoring junior techs) Experience on B737 or ERJ preferred Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS) Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical maintenance documents Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Daily work activities are performed on the hangar floor, office and classroom
environment
Overtime as required Utilizing computers to look up information
