Summary
We are seeking a dedicated
Traffic Management Coordinator
to join our team in the telecommunications sector. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient communication and coordination providing clients with a high level of quality, service and safety while maintaining client objectives and contributing significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional network installation services.
As a
Traffic Management Coordinator
, the primary role will be to complete and submit Traffic Management Plans along with facilitating and submitting permit applications in addition to the below:
Responsibilities
Schedule & validate traffic control requests, all requests are through email with the exception noted with the dispatch line.
Review & process permit/TMP/H1080 requests sending your supplier completes our requests.
Complete submissions directly of permit applications to select jurisdictions.
Answer email inquiries from client team members & build partnerships with vendors to provide guidance for working in the Province of BC.
Ensure client internal teams & partners are adhering to CNI's client protocols as they relate to Traffic Management principals by using set forms for scheduling.
Administrative work that includes entering data for permits, flagging requests in clients traffic management tools i.e.( google sheets).
Uploading and saving information in BC Flagging Google Drive
Answering client dispatch line, which may involve answering questions and scheduling cable repair traffic control requests. (Requests only come in through client's central dispatch line.)
Completion of Traffic Management plans. (Invarion)
Often cover for client team members within the department when on vacation, during meetings or out of office for any other reason.
The support team candidate will work closely with Client Traffic Management Prime Team Member.
Traffic Management Team hours of Operation are Monday - Friday 07:00 AM PST - 3:00 PM PST (hours may require adjustment when support is required and may change to 6:00 AM PST - 2:00 PM PST.
No work on weekends or statutory holidays, but outside regular business hours, we may have to deal with the occasion escalation.
TCP Supplier Field audits as requested by client Traffic Management Team (this will be rare)
Qualifications:
Invarion/Rapid Plan experience - must be able to complete Traffic management Plans
Word/Google Documents
Google Sheets/Excel
Team Player
Willing to learn
Able to problem solve, think outside the box.
Dispatch experience (optional, must be willing to learn)
Adaptable to change
Reside in BC and have knowledge of all regulations to work on roadways.
Must poses 2 - 5 years experience in the traffic control industry
