Job Overview

We are looking for motivated and safety-focused

Traffic Control personnel

to join our team. Whether you are an experienced Traffic Control or a certified TCP looking to grow, we have opportunities for you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting safe traffic control operations, assisting with daily job site needs, and occasionally working alongside our drill team. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Traffic Control Operations:

Set up and manage lane closures, detours, and work zones in compliance with safety standards.

Team Support:

Work alongside the drill team as needed, providing support with traffic control duties and assisting with light physical labour on site.

Truck Operation:

Operate and maintain traffic control vehicles and equipment.

Job Set-Up:

Hands-on setup including placing signs, cones, and barricades.

Client Communication:

Liaise with clients to understand needs and ensure safe, effective setups.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all traffic control setups meet local and federal safety requirements.

Plan Development:

experience with creating Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) using Invarion or similar software is a strong asset, and will be preferred.

Adaptability:

Hours will vary depending on project schedules and site requirements.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Current traffic control certifications (TCP, Flagging, or equivalent). Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour and move heavy equipment (e.g., signs, barricades). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in traffic control, all levels are welcome to apply. Familiarity with TMP software (e.g., Invarion) is an asset. Rates depend on experience

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
