Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Controller to join our team. As a Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in construction zones.
Responsibilities
Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for both workers and the public. Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers. Communicate clearly with drivers, pedestrians, and construction personnel to provide instructions and guidance. Monitor road conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when required, particularly during paving and building activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on-site.
Skills
Ability to build and dismantle traffic control setups. Proficiency in heavy equipment operation for traffic control purposes. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and the public efficiently. Valid Drivers license.
