Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction sites. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No experience is necessary, we will pay for training. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for coordinating traffic flow and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Direct traffic at construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and construction personnel to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
• Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic control measures as necessary.
• Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
