The opportunity

This is a 6 months contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong working experience involving a variety of financial instruments; dealing with investment professionals and investment lifecycle workflows. This is not a technology focused role.

Who you\'ll work with

One manager and a medium-sized cohort of application specialists. You will be working with various service delivery teams within the Enterprise operations division. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders and financial operations teams to ensure order inception, execution, confirmations and settlements workflows occur in systems.

What you\'ll do

Think on your feet through daily interactions with various business units.

Provide application support on business workflows for trading systems, book of record applications and cash management technologies.

Work through various investment related workflow issues to resolution.

Configure, implement new modules and functionality within the platforms.

Train users new to the platforms.

What you\'ll need

1 \xe2\x80\x93 2 years of experience in front, middle or back office or relevant financial industry experience

Experience providing support with business workflows in trading platforms

A solid foundation of investment products

Strong understanding of business workflows throughout the investment lifecycle

Creativity and confidence on communicating solutions to the problems at hand

Ability to build a strong rapport with business users
