We are looking for an experienced Trading Operations Manager with expertise in OTC trading, market making, digital assets and retain crypto wallet infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the operational integrity of our crypto trading desk, wallet and market making operations, ensuring the smooth execution and settlement of trades across centralized and decentralized platforms, OTC desks and Liquidity providers. You will work closely with traders, counterparties, tech, compliance, and finance teams to scale a secure, compliant, and efficient operational framework.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, the Trading Operations Manager will be responsible for the duties and obligations listed below.

Key Responsibilities

OTC trading Desk: Own the full pre- and post-trade process--capture, confirmation, allocation, settlement across centralized exchanges, OTC, and DeFi protocols. Act as a backup for traders. Report on Pnl and trade data. Market Making Operations: Optimize and manage the market making operations and inventory management. Wallet Operations: Provide trading and inventory management support for the non-custodial wallet product, including day to day inventory management and allocation. Report on Pnl and trade data. Counterparty Coordination: Onboard and manage relationships with institutional trading venues, brokers, liquidity providers, and settlement agents for fiat and crypto assets. Reporting & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate trade and position reconciliation across internal systems, exchanges, wallets, and bank accounts; resolve breaks and discrepancies swiftly. Regulatory & Risk Oversight: Support AML/KYC operations and regulatory reporting; enforce risk controls and operational compliance. System & Process Optimization: Partner with technology teams to automate workflows, improve data quality, and scale operational infrastructure to support increasing trade volumes. Team Leadership: Supervise Traders and ops analysts; define KPIs and implement SOPs for a high-performing operations function. Client-Focused Execution: Support institutional clients and counterparties with trade settlements, reporting, onboarding, and issue resolution. Troubleshoot issues: Provide crypto related support across all products and liaise with the customer support team to resolve any customer issues within a set timeframe. This role demands occasional availability outside of working hours and or over weekend. Ad hoc tasks: Support the VP of trading and Fin ops team in analyzing new trading venues/ideas/ reports. Provide support during audits and internal reviews.

Requirements and Candidate Profile

Experience: 4+ years in trading operations, fund operations, with at least 2+ years in digital assets or crypto trading (OTC, DeFi, CEX/DEX integrations, Trading via API). Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of crypto instruments, market structure, liquidity dynamics, wallets, gas fees, slippage, etc. Tech Fluency: Hands-on experience with OMS/PMS, reconciliation tools, APIs, and platforms such as Fireblocks. Proficiency in Excel, SQL; scripting (Python) is a plus. Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of crypto compliance, AML/KYC best practices, and familiarity with relevant global regulations. Soft Skills: Highly analytical, process-oriented, and capable of managing complex operational workflows under pressure.
