Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to tackle various tasks across multiple disciplines. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Tradesman will be responsible for executing projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Perform carpentry work including framing, cabinetry, and flooring installation. Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable surfaces. Conduct plumbing repairs and installations as needed. Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework. Operate heavy equipment for site preparation and material handling. Apply caulking and perform restoration work on existing structures. Carry out construction painting duties to enhance aesthetics and protect surfaces. Lay tile with precision for both functional and decorative purposes. Assist in construction estimating to provide accurate project cost assessments. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is necessary. Skills in carpentry, concrete forming, plumbing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, restoration, cabinet installation, caulking, and construction painting are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
