Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation\'s Lator Station is recruiting for a Mechanical Tradesperson Millwright to join the team. The Position reports to the Valleyview west, Day Foreman, in the Conventional Pipelines Business Unit (CBU), part of Pembina\'s Operations Division Business.

Pembina\'s conventional pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and North Dakota.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Support Pembina\'s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the \xe2\x80\x9cLife Saving Rules.\xe2\x80\x9d To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety;
• Completing corrective and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment in accordance with Pembina\'s preventable maintenance management program;
• Assisting operations in Facility optimization and troubleshooting;
• Providing technical support on new projects and management of change (MOC);
• Assist with installation, commissioning, start up, and maintenance of new equipment;
• Assist in completing rotating equipment overhauls;
• Support Pembina\'s culture of Community investment;
• Work Shift consists of 8 days on 6 days off, with on call rotation; and
• Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

• Apprentice and/or Journeyman Certification Mechanic or Millwright or Interprovincial Red Seal equivalent will be considered;
• Vibration training considered an asset;
• Oil sampling and analysis considered an asset;
• Experience in a pipeline transfer station, gas plant or facility operations is highly desired;
• Ability to troubleshoot Motor, compressor and pump problems effectively;
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with SAP would be an asset;
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication;
• Valid Class 5 Driver\'s License;
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivate, goal-oriented attitude and eager to be part of a strong maintenance and operations team; and
• Safety Courses: TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid would be an asset, but if incomplete, will be provided by company to the successful candidate.

This position is considered \xe2\x80\x9cSafety Sensitive\xe2\x80\x9d so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver\'s Abstract. The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Valleyview, AB.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
