TRADE PERSON / SKILLED HANDY PERSON
Firma Contracting is currently seeking a Trades Person / Skilled Handy Person to work on projects located in Saskatoon. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training, benefits and RRSP plan.
Responsibilities:
Restoration scopes of work Some carpentry work, including framing Drywalling Flooring removal and installation Finishing work Painting Project quality management General site housekeeping
Qualifications:
Previous restoration experience is required Removal experience for commercial and residential scopes Carpentry / framing experience Drywalling experience Flooring install experience Painting experience Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day Positive attitude / team player * Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction
