Our client is looking for a Legal Assistant specialized in trademarks to support their team of experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to work at the office and from home.

YOUR ROLE
As a trademark legal assistant, you will assist the professionals and ensure the necessary follow-ups for the management of the trademark files. Your responsibilities will include :
Research publications, review and record in the internal systems and forward to clients;
Ensure that intake notices are in accordance with publication notices and forward them to clients;
Review and forward receipt notices to clients;
Prepare and forward various letters such as letters of abandonment and letters indicating deadlines for client requests, including property notices;
Prepare and forward various letters such as abandonment letters and client application deadlines, including property notices; Review and forward registration and renewal certificates to clients;
Processes trademark expungement requests.
PREREQUISITES
DVS in Secretarial Studies, or any other equivalent and relevant combination of education/experience;
Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Organizational and priority-management skill;
Outstanding team spirit and interpersonal skills;
Discrete and professional;
Autonomous, meticulous and detail-oriented.
