We're looking for a Trackman to join our crew in the Maritimes region. This is a hands-on role where safety and teamwork come first. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help build and maintain Canada's railways, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Manually grade ballasts and clear surfaces.
Pull out spikes and hammer in new ones to secure rail ties.
Shovel rocks and dirt for grading and ballast maintenance.
Load and unload heavy materials and operate small equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Basic understanding of survey grades and railway construction methods.
Ability to read instructions and follow technical specifications.
Physical ability for moderate to heavy lifting, bending, shoveling, and standing for extended periods.
General knowledge of operating small equipment (rail saws, drills, grinders, pullers, air compressors, bolters, backpack blowers).
High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid full driver's license and clean driver's abstract (GDL or learner's permits not accepted).
