Job Description

You will be part of a team completing technical inspections and audits for telecommunication tower structures across Canada.

When not traveling for field work the role will have a technical report writing and quality control component which can be completed at home.

The ideal candidates will be physical fit and comfortable with heights who enjoys the outdoors and travel. They are eager to learn and ask questions to rapidly establish a new technical knowledge base. They are able to work independently and manage their own work schedule and deliverables efficiently.

Responsibilities:

-Complete a variety of on-site inspections and audits for telecommunication structures and rooftop installations in accordance with CSA standards including but not limited to: Structural inspections, Foundation Inspections, Mount mappings, and Post Installation Inspections.

-Daily processing and submission of completed inspections and audits (photos/measurements/field notes) to the project manager

-Review of documentation, drawing packages, and access instructions prior to site visits.

-Consistent and timely communication with project managers regarding field work scheduling and potential on-site issues.

-Analyze completed inspection/audit field notes to write high quality technical reports for client submission

-Review in-house projects and reports for due diligence and quality control.

Qualifications:

-Civil or Mechanical Engineering College or University graduate (Required)

-Able to travel within Canada (Required)

-Comfortable at working outdoors and at heights (Required)

-Valid Driver's License (Required)

-Familiarity with construction drawings packages (Preferred)

-AutoCad Experience (Preferred)

Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 2-12 weeks

Pay: From $1,500.00 per week

Work Location: On the road
