DUTIES

Operating Tower Crane (Potain H40/40C, Liebherr 281HC, Liebherr 200HC, Leibherr 180HC or Pecco SK-225) Performing regular inspections and completing daily logs Perform regular maintenance of tower crane (as required) Working in coordination with site supervisors, foreman and riggers

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a valid Tower Crane Operator's Certification Professional attitude, respectful behavior towards others, be reliable, trustworthy, competent and operate safely Must have CSA approved work boots and CSA approved hard hat WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection Certificate, Emergency First Aid Organizational skills Experience & general knowledge of construction, formwork and concrete equipment/material would be an asset

DUTIES

Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement Operate power vibrators to compact concrete Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Instruct apprentices Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
