Curry Towing & Recovery

is looking for a

Tow Truck Driver

to join our team. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, clean drivers abstract, and the ability remain professional at all times. Experience in the towing and/or trucking industry would be considered an asset but is not required.

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Class 3 or Class 5 drivers license, with Air Brake Endorsement.

Our shop is located north of Grande Prairie on Emerson Trail, so a reliable means of transportation is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Arriving on scene quick and promptly Making sure the truck is in good working condition and clean inside and out Quality customer service by communicating with customers in a professional manner Full knowledge of truck specs and capabilities Communicating with dispatch constantly over phone/text Following all safety regulations Keeping up to date with all rate schedules Following all company policies Diligently and neatly filling out invoices Driving with care and following the rules of the road General knowledge of Grande Prairie and area Ability to lift 30 to 60 lbs

Requirements:

Previous experience running a tilt deck or tow truck is an asset Willing to be on call and work flexible hours Ability to work in a fast paced environment Good communication and hand written skills; attention to detail in regards to paperwork and documentation Adaptable and can work well with others and in all weather conditions Safety conscious Professional, reliable and timely Customer Service experience Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check

Holds a valid Class 3 or Class 5 drivers license with air brake endorsement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
