Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the operational readiness of tow trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, safety procedures, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles in various conditions. Assist customers with vehicle recovery and provide professional customer service throughout interactions. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment. Operate additional equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading vehicles. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including documentation of vehicle condition and recovery details. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure safety for yourself, colleagues, and the public.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Prior experience in commercial driving, automotive repair, or related fields is preferred. Mechanical knowledge and basic automotive repair skills are highly desirable. Customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and courteously. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform vehicle recovery tasks, and work in various weather conditions. A clean driving record and adherence to safety standards are mandatory.
